Run Lover Run

Run Lover Run filmed in 1972 is a cute romance starring a very young Alan Tang and a very athletic Brigitte Lin. It involves a love triangle with Tang being interested in Lin while pretending to like another girl. This is supposed to make Brigitte Lin jealous and eventually does.

Boy gets girl in the end but not before dressing up like Charles Bronson - eye patch cowboy hat and all. Lin is initially immune to Tang's appeal because she dreams of Bronson and thinks Tang is not athletic enough for her. He proves her wrong by out-running her male track friends in dress shoes and kills his feet. But, oh well, all is fair in the name of love.

This movie will not stress your brain cells, but if you want to escape into an enjoyable fun romance, go for it. Be prepared to laugh and feel good at the end.
